Stage 1: Site Planning

The planning stage is where we gather information and assets from you - images, logos, and the text to appear on the website. We collect all of the pieces, and make sure we have a firm grasp on the goals and direction of the website. Before any work begins, we make sure we have everything we need and we know exactly what you need. Having clear ideas at the outset allows us to minimize backtracking later in the process.

Stage 2: Site Design

Once we have the required information, our designers create several proofs of home and inner pages for the website. These proofs can be generated relatively quickly, making changes to the initial design simple. We send you these proofs to evaluate, make changes, and then send revised proofs as necessary. This is where the look and feel for the site is decided, and further graphical assets are created by our design team.

Stage 3: Site Coding

Once a set of proofs is decided on, it needs to be created as an actual website. The design is converted from that mockup into required code and formats for use on the web, and other media, features, and content are built into the site. While this is a work-intensive stage of the website's creation, with the proper planning and design already complete, we can get through the technical coding smoothly and efficiently, without having to slow down or backtrack for design decisions along the way.

Stage 4: Testing

After the site has been coded, we test the website for appearance and functionality in all major Web browsers. We ensure every part of the site looks correct, functions properly, and maintains usability when dealing with the differences between browsers. We also check to ensure that every link out of the page is valid, and that every referenced image displays, as well. At this point, we give you another chance to look over the now-complete website, to make last minute changes and adjustments, alter text, and swap out images if desired. Once you give us the go-ahead, your site is then launched live onto the Internet.

Stage 5: Go Live

This is when we place the finalized and approved version of your website on the specified domain for the world to see.

Stage 6: Updates

Going live is not the end of a website, and neither is it the end of our commitment. A website will undoubtedly need to change over time, and we do just that, updating content and media at your request.
